A letter from the Director of Religious Education...

GIFT ~ Generations in Faith Together

The GIFT weekend in January 2015 was very well attended, with over 443 people in attendance!

We received very good input from the evaluation sheets that participants filled out.  The input shared on the evaluation process was rated in the following manner.

What did you like best?  Answers were as follows:  Families eating meals together; presentations

by Deacon Bill, Deacon Bob and Brian Connolly; the delicious food prepared by Gnazzo’s;  spending time together with friends, family and community sharing a meal;  enjoyable class presentation and discussion; teens joining adults in the discussion time.

Also enjoyed was the sharing of experiences during the “wrap-up” portion of the program.  Many have emailed their thanks for the GIFT that was provided for each family to take home:  The Epiphany House Blessing complete with a piece of chalk and bottle of holy water.  The passing on of spiritual traditions was a good way to end the gathering.

The February GIFT theme will be “The Eucharist: Centrality of Eucharist and Eucharistic Prayers.”

This will be offered on the following days:

Friday, February 27, 6:00-8:30 p.m.; Saturday, February 28, 9:00-11:30 a.m.; and Sunday, March 1 , 2:00-4:30 p.m.

GIFT registration forms (green), can be found at the doors of the church or downloaded from the Website: www.stpatsfarm.com .

Please choose the session you can attend and return the registration form to Eileen Dignazio in the religious education office by February 25, 2015.
